This is for Allie's art contest. I call it "Circle of Life".... This whole picture really means a lot to me. The light of the sun and moon symbolize the cycle of our day, and life for that matter. The star to the top is polaris, the north star, which wouldn't normally be discernable from this location in Africa where my portrait is taking place, but it shows that the world is all interconnected. Many of the animals present from my beautiful piece are also often thought of in Noah's Ark. Infact, some of my animals there are two of, which shows this relationship... The harsh reality of the world is brought to life also through the solitary placement of a few of the animals. The birds overhead are like angels looking down on our lives. Some say my inspiration for this piece comes from my unique vision of the world, others say it comes from Lion King... we may never know. I hope this picture is considered for first place. Thank you.

I read about this in the startribune paper the other day. A guy recently broke the record for watching TV at just over 69 hours. This is also the same guy who has broken many other records. One of which is bowling for 100 hours. Whoa whoa whoa, back the train up here. You're telling me this guy can do a physical activity such as bowling for 100 straight hours but can't sit in a chair and watch TV for longer than 70? wtf.
